Everything you love,
stored where you live.
HexOS turns a computer in your home into your own private cloud, as easy to use as your phone.
Photos, media, files, and your smart home, on hardware you own, under your roof, on your terms.
Your digital life shouldn't live on someone else's computer.
The cloud is great for some things. It just got prescribed for everything, and the longer you're in, the harder it is to leave. HexOS gives you a way out, and a place to keep what matters.
Bring it home
Your photos, files, and memories on hardware you can touch. No account to lose, no terms to accept, no one between you and your stuff.
Swap subscriptions for apps
Photos, media, files, smart home. Pick an app, install it in a few clicks, and it's ready the first time you open it.
Keep it simple
You don't need to be an IT admin. Sensible defaults for everything, so it feels more like managing a phone than a server, and real people ready to help whenever you need them.
How you get there
From wherever your data lives today to a home you own, in four steps.
Whether your stuff is in a cloud account, on an old NAS, or spread across a drawer of external drives, the move looks the same. Try each step yourself: every card opens a live demo of the real thing, right here in your browser.
Step 1: Set up HexOS
Repurpose an old PC, build one, or buy pre-built. Install HexOS, answer a few questions, and the wizard sets up your drives the right way.
Step 2: Bring over your data
Pull your files in from the cloud, another NAS, or external drives. Pick the source, choose what to bring, and HexOS does the copying.
Step 3: Install some apps
Photos, media, files, smart home. Pick an app, install it in a few clicks, and it's ready the first time you open it. Then cancel the subscription it replaces.
Step 4: Back up to a buddy
Back up to a friend's HexOS server, encrypted so only you can read it. They host it. You own it. (Or back up to a second server of your own.)
Powerful underneath.
Simple on top.
HexOS partnered with TrueNAS, the open source data platform IT professionals trust. Everything that makes a server reliable is in there, built and proven by people who do this for a living. HexOS sits on top, so you get the strength without the homework.
“Our collaboration combines TrueNAS’s enterprise reliability with HexOS’s user-friendly interface, creating a powerful solution for both content creators and everyday users.”
